Sri Lanka’s national Chief Selector Pramodaya Wickramasinghe, who is currently in Australia along with his wife for the T20 World Cup, met Consultant Coach Mahela Jayawardene in the sidelines of the global event!
Mahela, who has recently been given a global responsibility at Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians, was largely non existent and non available for Sri Lanka as Consultant Coach. However, after Dasun Shanka led team’s Asia Cup Triumph, he has appeared to take the centre stage!
Pramodaya, accompanied by his wife, is there to represent Sri Lanka Cricket National Selection Committee!
Riding high on Asia Cup Victory, Sri Lanka to kick off their T20 World Cup campaign on 16th October against Namibia. Before that, the team is scheduled to play two warm up matches – against Zimbabwe and Ireland.
The T20 World Cup begins on October 16.
