Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) powerful vice president domestic Cricket Ravin Wickramaratne has been appointed as tournament director of the Emerging Asia Cup, Cricket Age reliably learns. The decision was taken during SLC’s last Executive Committee (ExCo) meeting.
In another Interesting development, board’s Incompetent COO Jerome Jayaratne, who is a proven liability but keep hanging at Maitland Place since decades due to his so called political connections, has been named as Co tournament director! Reason of appointing a Co tournament director is not known!
The Emerging Asia Cup will be played in Sri Lanka from13th to 23rd July.
