The BCCI have announced India’s squad for the upcoming three-match T20Is and ODI series against Sri Lanka.
Suryakumar Yadav will lead the T20Is, Rohit Sharma will captain the ODIs and Shubman Gill has been appointed as vice-captain in both formats. Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja have been rested for the series.
The series will mark a first for Gautam Gambhir as India head coach as he takes over from Rahul Dravid who steered the team to the T20 World Cup triumph in the Caribbean last month.
