BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has been elected unopposed as the next Independent Chair of the ICC and he will assume this new role on December 1, 2024.
Shah has become the youngest ICC chairman. He also become the fifth Indian after Jagmohan Dalmiya, Sharad Pawar, N Srinivasan and Shashank Manohar to be elected as ICC Chairman.
“I am humbled by the nomination as the Chair of the International Cricket Council,” Shah said.
