Surya needed 2714 balls to complete 4000 runs in the IPL. He broke KL Rahul’s record, who crossed the 4000-run mark in the IPL in 2820 balls.
Former West Indies skipper and legendary batter Chris Gayle is the fastest batter to score 4000 runs in the IPL. He needed 2653 balls to cross the 4000-run mark. Former RCB star AB de Villiers is second on the list with 2658 balls to score 4000 runs.
