Kolkata Knight Riders off-spinner Sunil Narine has surprised one and all in the 10th edition of the IPL with his exploits with the bat as an opener for Kolkata Knight Riders in the 10th edition of the IPL. He was in sensational form against the hapless Royal Challengers Bangalore bowlers scoring the joint fastest fifty in the history of the IPL in only 15 deliveries.
His efforts have drawn widespread acclaim and Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has taken to his personal Twitter account praising Narine. He has gone as far as to say that West Indies should no longer search for another opener as Narine is their answer to the troubled position.
Narine has had a disappointing campaign with his primary skill, bowling in the tournament. But he has more than made up for it with his performances with the bat after he was promoted up the order as an opener.
