Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi hailed legendary Muttiah Muralitharan, during his visit of Sri Lanka, today.
He is on Sri Lanka visit as a Chief guest of Vesak day festival in Colombo. Overwhelmed by the occasion, modi wrote on his twitter handle about the Murali.
“In more recent times, you have gifted to the world one of the finest spinners in cricket, Muttiah Muralitharan” he wrote.
Greatest bowler in the history of the game, Murali took 800 test wickets, and astonishing 534 scalps in ODI Cricket. Currently, he is in India, associated with Sunrises Hyderabad as a bowling coach.
