Mohammed Shami hosted Team India members for a dinner at his house in Delhi ahead of the fifth and final one-day international between India and Australia at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Wednesday. The five-match series between the two teams is currently locked at 2-2 after India won the first two ODIs and Australia won the next two.
Shami took to Twitter to thank the Indian cricket team for making it to his home for the dinner and posted a picture with some of them.
In the photograph posted by Shami, he can be seen standing with Kedar Jadhav and Rishabh Pant on either side.
Back at home, opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan also went out for dinner with a couple of his friends in which actor Karan Wahi was a notable personality.
On the cricketing front, India have plenty of questions to answer as Australia have fought back in a remarkable fashion to level the series.
India, who are still experimenting ahead of the World Cup, have faced defeats in the last two ODIs and would want to get a major win and the series in their bag as they go on the road to the World Cup.
The Dehli ODI is India’s final international fixture before the World Cup in May and June.
