Yes, the Queensland government has stated that the Indian national cricket team is more than welcome to not travel to Brisbane for the fourth and final Test against hosts Australia if they are having trouble in following the COVID-19 quarantine guidelines.
The latest response reportedly made by the Queensland government has come in the wake of Team India showing reluctance to travel to Brisbane for the final Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy between the two cricketing superpowers. According to multiple reports, it was learned that Ajinkya Rahane-led Indian side is not willing to travel to Brisbane if players are asked to undergo quarantine after already serving the 14-day mandatory period for their lengthy tour Down Under.
