Anil Kumble, The head coach of team India, made it clear that the team management will not replace middle-order batsman Ajinkya Rahane, who was dismissed for 13 and 18 in both the innings, in which his side lost the match within three days.
“there is no question of dropping rahane. he has been extremely successful over the years. It’s unfortunate that karun Nair missed out last test, even after making a triple century, but we can ignore rahane also,” kumble told.
There were speculation in Indian media that team India might replace rahane with young karun Nair.
