Multan Sultans, the newest entrants in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) have picked Kumar Sangakkara as player-cum-mentor for the upcoming edition.
“Kumar is a master class, and over the time he has outshined as one of the most consistent T20 players, be it his blistering strokes or splendid glove work behind the stumps, he has contributed amazingly to the T20 format across the globe” said Wasim Akram, Multan’s team director. Earlier, Multan Sultans had signed former Sri Lanka Coach Tom Moody as their head Coach.
Sangakkara recently retired from first class cricket after a steller season with Surrey. He earlier played for Karachi Kings in PSL, but had been released recently by the team.
