Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) CEO Ashley De Silva, who has been facing a case from a former board lady employee Including harassment charges, is no stranger to this sort of things. According to reliable sources, in past too, Ashley had been charged with the same kind of allegations.
Cricket Age has learnt that a lady secretary of Ashley De Silva forced to leave the SLC under some mysterious circumstances. Another lady employee, she was a marketing executive, had to face the same sort of issues. The same issues were with a lady Legal officer in the last two years.
In the latest episode, as Cricket Age has published few days ago, another former lady employee of SLC has filed a case against Ashley.
Though, Ashley is trying his best to avoid the Court Proceedings, as he has given tame excuses in last few hearings of the case.
It has also learnt that since the disastrous home series against India in July-August Ashley has been taking all the decisions at SLC, as The President Thilanga Sumathipala has taken a back seat after the criticism from all the corners. Since then, he has attended almost all the press conferences of SLC. As he has already battling with Harassment allegations, this turned out a good opportunity to hide all his wrongdoings. But in the process, he must be responsible for all the financial irregularities, that is happening at SLC.
