India captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid met with the Ajit Agarkar-led selections committe on Sunday to discuss the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in the America. According to a report in RevSportz, the informal meeting took place at a five-star hotel in New Delhi with Rohit, Dravid and Agarkar all present for the discussion. 1983 World Cup winner Krishnamachari Srikkanth feels Mohammed Siraj shouldn’t be picked in the World Cup.
Explaining his remark, Srikkanth said: “Bumrah is in the squad. Arshdeep as well. But the third pacer can’t be Siraj. He’ll bowl well in one game and then not perform in 10 games. He’s an erratic bowler, you saw it in the World Cup.”
